Peacefully at Stoneridge Manor in Carleton Place on Saturday January 01, 2011. C.J. Bus Phillips was in his 98th year. Predeceased by his first wife Bessie (Dougherty) Phillips, second wife Lucy (Wreggitt) Phillips, daughter Mary Christie, Grandson Richard Phillips and step daughter Patricia. Loving father of Carol (Bob) Lennox and family, Fred (Linda) Phillips and Family, Dixie Phillips, Roy (Pauline) Phillips and family, Pamela (Neil) McKenney and Family. Stepfather to Elwood (Elizabeth) Wreggitt and family, Nancy (Marc) Rondeau and Family, Bruce (Melanie) Wreggitt and Family and Noella (Rod) Rousseau and family. Cherished grandfather to 35, great-grandfather to 53 and great great-grandfather to 8. In keeping with Buss wish, cremation has taken place. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday January 11th, 2011 from 12 to 1 PM. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1 PM. Following the service, Buss family invites everyone to join them across the street at the Legion for refreshments and fellowship.
