Born June 7, 1941 in Merrickville and Passed away on January 5, 2011 peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Betty Fowlie. Dear brother of Mary Montain. Loving father of Richard (Krysta),Steve (Bev), Diane, Tara (Tim) and Tammy (John). Cherished grandfather of Kimber, Kyle, Johnathan, Gregory, Elizabeth. He will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Madeline (Driscoll) Fowlie and brother Charles and Peter. A memorial to celebrate his life will be held at the Smiths Falls Legion on Sunday January 9th, 2011 from 2-4 PM. Private family interment at a later date. Donations in memory of James to L.A.W.S. or the Dignity House Hospice would be appreciated.
