Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at the Smiths Falls Hospital on February 16, 2011. Jessie Sheridan, beloved wife of the late Borden Sheridan. Loving mother of Lorne Sheridan (Marian) of Perth, Peg Kivi (Bill) of Sarnia, and Nancy McFadyen (Scott) of Smiths Falls. Cherished grandmother of Kari, Kimetha, Erica and great grandmother of Hannah. Predeceased by her parents James and Hannah Lorne Chalmers. Also survived by her sister-in-law Marjorie Sheridan. Jessie graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Montreal General Hospital in 1940. Jessie maintained a great sense of humor and at each stage of her life, she was exemplary in her service to others, her family and her community. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday February 18, 2011 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will take place in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Smiths Falls on Saturday February 19, 2011 at 1 PM. Interment at Maple Vale Cemetery.
