Peacefully surrounded by her family at Rose Bridge Manor on Sunday February 20, 2011. Leona Gertrude Bennett, age 90 years. Loved daughter of Malcolm and Eva Carr. Devoted and Loving wife for 59 years of Gerald Bennett. Cherished mother of Shirley, Betty (David), Gary (Jill), Guy (Marlene), Debbie (Don) and special grandson Jason (Laurie). Predeceased by children Reta, Alvin and Roger. Beloved sister to 15 Carr brother and sisters. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Pat, Bea, Mabel, Wallace, Nathan, Clark and Ulla. Leona will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
