Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Theodore "Ted" Backer. Dear mother of Budd (Diane) and Nancy (the late Gary). Cherished grandmother of Mark (Celeste) and Matthew (Lynn). Dear great-grandmother of Hannah and Emerson. Predeceased by her brothers Jack, Percy, Harold and Ronald and by her sisters Dorothy and Isabel. Survived by her sister-in-law Carmen. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Cora's life at St. John's Evangelist Anglican Church on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2 o'clock.
