Peacefully at Hilltop Manor on Thursday July 7, 2011. Velva Adrean Heaphy in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Stephen Heaphy. Loving mother of James Heaphy (the late Theresa), the late Betty Kotlarchuk (the late Joe), Dorothy Moffitt (Jim), Jean Vachon (Lionel) and Phil Heaphy (Bonnie). Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. A Memorial Celebration of Mass in memory of Velva will take place at St. Anns Catholic Church, Merrickville on Thursday July 14, 2011 at 10 AM. Interment St. Anns Cemetery. Donations in memory of Velva to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
