Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday August 13, 2011. Irene Markadonis, age 40 years. Beloved daughter of Emmanuel and Maria Markadonis. Loving mother of Alex Markadonis. Cherished sister of Kathy (Knut) Minard and their children Emily and Phillip. Dear niece to uncle Tom (Ursula) and their children Mike and Leo, uncle John (Anna) and there children Mike, Perry and Cathy, aunt Effi (Nick) and her children George and Mike, and Uncle Peter. Irene will also be missed by other cousins Mike and Cathy Greece, Michele (Stewart), Marcy, her god son Mike and his brother Spiro, her god father Angelo and many friends. As per Irene’s wishes, there will be no Visitation or Celebration of Life. Irene was loved by so many people.
