Faye, Michael, Bruce and Blair - so sorry to read about the passing of your dad in the newspaper. I recognized his picture right away. Last month, I was going through photo albums and saw the photo of us all (as kids - so very young) on the hill at the side of our house on Condie Street. Take care and hold on to your memories.

Dad You have always welcomed me with open arms and there are so many fond memories, to vast to list, but that I will always cherish. Your personality and love has been passed onto your grandchildren, and your traits will be carried through them. Dear Faye, Andrew called to tell us of the death of your beloved Dave. I am so very sad for you and the boys. The McKInnon Family have some wonderful memories of times spent together with Dave during the building of our home. He was talented and understated and knew his trade well. A guid man,a ken ! Papa it still hasn't hit me that you have passed. It's going to be hard to imagine a house at Christmas without your loud Scottish howl throughout the hallways. Papa Life goes by too fast, that's why when I was with you we made every moment last. The non stop chats about hockey were always a blast, when you broke your wrist I wanted to be the first to sign your cast. You wrote a poem every year, I will take it over and steer. But in my heart I know your still here. You were always in the crowd starting the cheer, I know heaven is treating you good, have they given you a beer? There are so many things to remember, you will always be my birthday buddy in November. You were more than a Grandpa, you were a bro. You have welcomed our family into your family unit as one of yours so your loss is ours too, so we are also feeling the pain of losing a loved one and we were hoping to have Dave in our lives for a lot longer that we did.
