Peacefully at home on Tuesday March 20, 2012. Donald William MacPherson, age 83 years. Beloved father of Marion Edwards (late Albert), Richard (Noella) MacPherson, Alan MacPherson, Lorne (Maria) MacPherson and Lori-Ann MacPherson. Loving grandfather of Patty (Jeremy) Best, Tim (Angie) Best, Nicki (Rick) Gilfillen, Tammy (Randy) Lee, Suzanne MacPherson, Donnie MacPherson, Michael & Rebecca MacPherson. Cherished great-grandfather of Ashley, Eric, Kayla, Austin, Kodi, Piper, Bodie, Jacob, Kyla, Jenna, Abby and Marley Eve. Predeceased by his brother Alfred and his sister Wilma. Donald will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday March 22, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Friday March 23, 2012 at 11 AM. Donations in memory of Donald to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
