Member of the St. Francis Masonic Lodge and the Royal Arch Masons Lifelong Farmer in North Elmsley Township Passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2012. Gordon Armstrong Best, age 91 years. Predeceased by his parents Henry & Elizabeth Best and his daughter Heather James (Wayne). Beloved husband of Helen Best (nee Gamble). Loving father of Donald Best (Kathy). Cherished grandfather of Jason James (Karen), Tyler James (Rosina), Landon James, Devon Best and Matthew Best. Great grandfather of Sienna, Ryker and Keelan. Dear brother of Arthur Best (Edith), Laura Bullerwell (late Kenneth) and predeceased by Hubert Best (late Mary). Gordon will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Gordon to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
