Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Monday June 25, 2012. Stephen Herschel Foster, age 86 years. Predeceased by his wife Beryl (nee Nicholson) and 2 daughters Christine and Robin. Beloved father of Wayne (Debra) Foster, Brent (Connie) Foster, Brenda Stoddard and Wendy (Dale) Gifford. Cherished grandfather of Dawn, Stephen, Joe, Sherry, Sally, Sarah, Michael, Amanda, Melissa and Jonathan. Loving great grandfather to many. Dear brother of Shirley Durrell, Elizabeth (Betty) Benoit and Eileen Eldridge. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Eric, Herbert, Buster, Arthur, Hiram and Dorothy. He will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday June 27, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Thursday June 28, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Stephen to the Smiths Falls Legion or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
