Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday October 4, 2012. Dalton Bannon, age 82 years. Predeceased by his parents Caleb Hector Bannon and Pearl Dafoe. Loving father of Robert (Krista), Susan (Edmund) Merkley and Fred (Yvonne). Beloved partner of Beverley Ritchie. Dalton is survived by his estranged wife Leata Bannon. Cherished grandfather of Tanya (Mark) Manns, Nicholas (Sara) Merkley, Matthew (Maxine) Merkley, Jessica Merkley, Caitlin, Caleb & Mahalia Bannon and Matthew (Stephanie) Brown. Great grandfather of Laura, Abigail, Brennan & Colin Manns, Maddox Merkley, Benjamin Merkley, Luke and Callie Brown. Dear brother of Linda Uniacke (Bill Kelly). Predeceased by his brothers Elton & Ivan and sister Bonnie. Dalton is loved and will be sadly missed by members of the Ritchie, Bannon and McNevan Family. As well, he will be remembered by his various old time fiddling groups and vacationing friends. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday October 8, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
