Peacefully with family by her side at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday October 15, 2012. Janet Myrtle Cooke, age 79 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Keith Cooke. Loving mother of Christine (Guy) Lascelle, Lindsay (Traci) Cooke, Jeffrey Cooke, Cameron (Dawn) Cooke and Tracey (Shane) Merkley. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Cooke, Liam Merkley, Hayden Merkley, Evan Merkley and great grandmother of Sophie Hill. Dear sister of Lois McAndrew. Predeceased by her brothers Thomas & Johnny Walker, Ernest Birtch, Ken Birtch and her sisters Lillian Langevin and Muriel Gale. Myrtle will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday October 18, 2012 for visitation from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Friday October 19, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Myrtle to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
