Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday October 18, 2012, Skin Beath in his 57th year. Predeceased by his parents Doug and Gabrielle Beath. Beloved husband of 38 years to Melanie Beath (nee Griffith). Loving father of Carly Rhiannon Beath and Laura Gabrielle Beath. Dear brother of Jim (Brenda) Beath and Bob (Judy) Beath. Skin will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. He was a fond music lover, world traveler, humanitarian, photographer, gardener, golfer. He was also a fisherman, animal lover, romantic, avid reader, and classic movie enthusiast. He was a generous, honest and thoughtful man, true to himself. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday October 23, 2012 for visitation from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Wednesday October 24, 2012 at 1 PM. A gathering at the legion will follow the service. Donations in memory of David to L.A.W.S. or to S.C.A.W. would be appreciated.
