At home on Friday November 9, 2012, Terry Lackey, in his 79th year. Born in Peterborough, February 16, 1934. Beloved husband and best friend of Jessie (nee Gunn) for 55 years. Loving father of Terry Jr. (Tammy) and Debra Thomlinson (Dale). Devoted grandpa of Curtis (Becky) and Amy Thomlinson, Krista, Sean and Brandon Lackey. Step grandpa of Briana and Justin Finkle. Dear brother-in-law of Stanley Gunn (Gladys) of Smiths Falls and Theresa Conroy of Kingston. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Terry was an avid guitarist. He loved country music and played with several different groups throughout the years. Terry loved antique cars, hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved his home and family. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday November 14, 2012 for visitation from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Thursday November 15, 2012 at 11 AM. Donations in memory of Terry to the Westminster Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
