I am really going to miss Candace. I worked with Candace at Lanark County Housing Corporation. Candace was a very compassionate, empathetic and thoughtful person who brought all of these qualities with her to her work with the staff and the individuals living in our communities. Candace was especially thoughtful when it came to victims of domestic violence living in our community. She went above and beyond what was expected of her to ensure that these women were treated with kindness and respect. I learned alot from Candace and am going to miss her thoughtful approach and the friendship she shared with me while I knew her. My thoughts are with her family in this difficult time.
