Passed away peacefully at the Hilltop Manor Long Term Care Facility on Sunday January 13, 2013 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Joyce Dorothy Thurgood. Loving father to Maureen (Yvonne Dupuis), Sandra (Claude Dupuis), Shirley (Craig Gladding), Brian (Judy) and Stephen (Jennifer). Cherished grandfather to 15 grandchildren. Hugh will be lovingly remembered by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Special thank you to the staff and nurses at Hilltop Manor Long Term Care Facility in Merrickville, Ontario for all their loving care and support. As per Hugh’s wishes a memorial service will take place at Lannin Funeral Home on Friday January 18, 2013 at 11:00AM. As expressions of sympathy donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
