Passed peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Kingston General Hospital in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Sandra. Loving father of Pamela (Geoff Sharpley) and Charlene Boote (Paul Calder). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Cassidy, Tennyson and Kennedy. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. As per Dirk’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Lannin Funeral Home and Chapel Smiths Falls on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11 o'clock. Because of Dirk’s love for animals donations to L.A.W.S or the O.S.P.C.A would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences available at www.lannin.ca
