Peacefully with her family by her side at Smiths Falls hospital on Wednesday February 6, 2013 in her 86th year. Beloved wife for 66 years of John Wilson. Loving mother of Chester (Nora) of Smiths Falls, Roland (Debbie) of Manotick, Richard (Bonnie) of Magog, Quebec, Lise (Denis) of Ottawa, Jean (Mac) of Orleans, Linda (Rodney) of Standstead, Quebec, and Caroline (Mike) of Rockland. Lovingly remembered by 2 surviving brother and 3 sisters. Grandmother to 14 grandchildren and great grandmother to 12 great grandchildren. Rita will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home Smiths Falls on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 1-3PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 3 o'clock. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
