I just found out about this. My sympathy's to Bill's family. Bill was an amazing person in every way. He helped me so much with so many things and was always cheerful. He talked to me on the phone and in person when I lost my mom to cancer. He had a great sense of humor and would often sneek up on me at work. He was like a big brother to me and I will miss him terribly xox God bless - he is in a better place

Dear Myrna, Jack, Kathryn, Susan & the rest of the Family, I am so sorry I could not be there today due to medical issues. When I read in the paper on Friday that Bill had passed away, I was both saddened & shocked. Bill & I spent many wonderful hours in Youth Group, He danced in his wheelchair with me at my first wedding in 1977 and I still have the card from his gift. Something you may not know is that Bill saved me from drowning in the locks when I was 13 so that would have been the summer of 1974. I clearly remember that he nearly drowned himself but told me he would not have let anything happen to me as he felt he was not only my friend but like another Brother. I will miss chatting with him on Facebook. He will forever hold a specail place in my heart. God Bless You all and Guide you through your difficult journey of grieving. Heather Ann Dennie

If there was ever a guy that could find a laugh in the cards dealt, it was Bill! Anyone that even spent a minute with him, could never forget him... but was also smart enough to be cautious of what might come out the drivers door when it opened! God Speed my old friend!

Dearest Family and Friends of Bill: I join with so many others who knew Bill in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of life of someone who lived life to the fullest inspite of his health issues. The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him especially his poker buddies. In Sympathy......Dianne "LadyDi" Tidd. Rest in peace Kermit.
