We are sad to announce the passing of Joyce Mary Edwards at the Perth Hospital on Friday, April 5, 2013. She has gone to have 'a little chat with God.' Born September 20, 1932 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, She is survived by her daughter Lesa and Son John and special daughter-in-law Tammy. She was a special 'gma' to her angels Jordan, Alicia and Elizabeth. Fondly remembered by her sister Rosemarie. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Donald Edwards, her mother Alice Decoste and sisters' Joan Mosher and Bobby Martin. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. As per Joyce's wishes cremation has taken place and, a celebration of life will be held at the Montague & District Forget-Me-Not Seniors Club 658 Rosedale Road South on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 4 o'clock. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Stella Maris, North Rustico Prince Edward Island. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations to the Montague & District Forget-Me-Not Seniors Club or the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Lanark County would be greatly appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls.
