Suddenly at home on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in his 76th year. Devoted Husband to Cora. Loving father of Richard, Valerie (Doug Foster), Randy (Suzanne) and Russell (Darlene). Dear Grandfather to Steven (Misty), Amy (William), Tabitha (Andrew Reynolds), Kyle (Jamie), Bridgette (Houssam Alchawa), Christopher (Danielle), Jacob (Katelyn), Jeremy (Lydia), and Joshua. Beloved great grandfather of McKenzie, Landon, Marcus, Rowan, Kadence, Avery, Riley, Samantha, Klair and Ryder. Alvin is predeceased by his brother Harold (Linda) and sisters Velva (Boyd Brydes), Joyce (Arthur Crawford) and Diane (Michael McNamee). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8PM.
