Veteran of WW11 , Former Employee Air Canada (TCA) member of the Smiths Falls Lions club. Peacefully at Ottawa Civic Hospital with family by his side on Wednesday August 14, 2013. Stanley Bennett, age 90 years. Beloved husband to the late Shirley Doreen Watt. Loving father to David (Glenda), Candace Nawrot (John) Cherished Grandfather to Koni (Nick), Kari , Step-grandfather to Derek (Jennifer),and Andrew (Sonja).Also survived by 3 step-great grandchildren. Dear brother to Patricia Boyd. Uncle to Marilyn Boyd. Many thanks to AMA unit of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their kindness. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home Smiths Falls on Friday August 23, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM . A Celebration of life will take place on August 24,2013 at 11AM in the Chapel of the Lannin Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery.
