Passed away peacefully on September 27, 2013 at Leisureworld Tullamore Nursing Home at 91 years of age. Elsie was a longtime employee of Gray Tools, Toronto and MCDonnell Douglas, Malton. Predeceased by her husband Ross McIntyre. Loving mother of Dawn Banville (Sandy) Haining, loving grandmother to Jeffrey Banville. Loving sister to Alva Gillespie (Robert) MacLean, beloved aunt to Karen, Diana, Debbie and Donny, Donnie and Sheila, Jenn, Patty Michelle and their families. Loving godmother to Joan and Joyce. Predeceased by her loving brothers and sisters Elena, Norman, Orville, Emma, Myrtle, Audrey 'Midge' and Dorothy. Predeceased by her son- in-law, Jerry Banville. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m., followed by service in Chapel at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntington Society and/or Toronto Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. A private interment to take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls.
