Peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in her 68th year. Beloved daughter of the late Cyril and the late Bessie Phillips. Loving sister of Fred (Linda) Phillips, Roy (Pauline) Phillips and Pam (Neil) McKenney. Dear sister-in-law of Bob Lennox. Predeceased by her sister Mary (the late Sherman) Christie and Carol Lennox. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. As per Dixie's wishes bio-cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Dixie's life at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 95 on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 11am - 1pm. A graveside service will follow at St. Bede's Anglican Cemetery, Nolan's Corners. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
