To Ethel's Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I knew Ethel in High School, and later when she worked at Bank of Nova Scotia. In the past few years I would meet her shopping. I always enjoyed talking with her. She would always ask me how retirement was going and what was I doing. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Sincerely, Marilyn

Jeff and Chris I was saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Her mother in law was my god mother. I knew Ethel for many years and as well when she worked at Scotia Bank. Chris and Jeff..I was truly saddened and shocked to learn of your mother's passing..I worked for many years with her at Scotiabank, and we shared many moments both work related and as friends having lunch together..she crocheted beautiful baby blankets for my grandsons as gifts..and I was always amazed at how she did such intricate/delicate stitches..how gifted she was!!! I will miss our conversation, and her radiant smile! My deepest condolences to you and your families...Sincerely Gina Juneau

Jeff and Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom & I were friends for 55 years. I have so many happy memories of the times we spent together. But I think that one I will remember forever will be our early morning walks. I worked the night shift for a lot of years and when I got off at 7:00am Ethel would be waiting for me rain or shine. On the rainy days I would often try to beg off. Not that she would let me, she would just laugh and say , "grab your raincoat or an umbrella and let's go". And for an hour or more it didn't matter that it was raining, we laughed and chatted as we got soaking wet. Rest in peace until we meet again my dear friend....

Sending sincere sympathies to the family. Ethel and I grew up together and walked to school many days. We had lots of laughs over the years - even when Wilma and I went around on Hallowe'en and visited them at their home on George street - yes, we even got treats that night, just like all the other "kids". What a kind, caring daughter, sister, wife, Mother, grandmother and friend that Ethel was. We had a nice visit on the phone about a month ago. Another angel on earth, who is now in Heaven and pain free. Just know Ethel, that you leave many happy thoughts and memories with us. Huge hugs, Charlene xo
