Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Friday, February 26, 2016 in his 71st year. Loving father of Angela (Chris Gilbertson) and Leonard Donovan. Sadly missed by his granddaughters Ryan and Jordan. Dear Brother of Joan (Louie Blanksma), Donald Donovan (Barbara), Dianne (Jim Northey), Art Donovan and Nancy Ronan. Predeceased by his parents John and Helen Donovan and his sister Margaret Rose Garvin. Charlie will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Charlie's life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch #95 on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 1pm-4pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls. Online condolences available at www.lannin.ca
