Rosalie, ,Bill, Christopher, Chance Just a small tribute from myself , Richard and Jeannine and Mom Therese to say how much we enjoyed our , unfortunately not often enough, visits to see Eadie ,,,she was always so overjoyed to see us , especially mom, and how precious she was in her shy ,hellos and her calm embraces,,,to us she was a especially religious person who believed in God and truly believed that everything in her life was there for HIS reasons,,,,I remember fondly , years ago in bringing aunt Edith from Montreal to visit her and how overwhelmed she was,with Edith,, Eadie was a wonder ' awed by all of God's creatures and had such a reverence towards the beauty of nature, in it,s flowers it's , butterflies it's birds and animals,,,,I don't think that I have ever met another person who lived the Word of God in such an unpretentious manner, never preaching or imposing her beliefs but sharing them just by living them,,,,Personally I will remember the cute little tea house she always wanted to go to,,,it so represented her by it;s calming atmosphere,, we are truly chagrined by her departure but we know that she will always be present in our hearts and prayers and will be counting on showers of graces coming down from heaven showered on all those she loved and cherished,,,We as a family will remember her quiet , stoic ,serene demeanor enveloped by beautiful , calming , welcoming smile , we are with you in spirit as we could not make it and never hesitate to visit when you come to Ottawa,,,,

Dear Rosalie, Bill, Chance & Chris. So very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful friend for over 30 years. She was a kind, caring, gracious lady. Edith Adeline Lauziere. Known as Eadie. My aunt Eadie and my grandmother Solange are the only 2 bona fide angels I have ever met. And in that light I would like to say how wondrous Eadie was - as ever there she was for anyone who needed whatever. She never demanded, requested or asked for anything from anybody for herself - no matter how difficult the times were. My memories of Eadie go far back to my almost pre-teen years. Every summer she, my uncle Henry and I drove down Highway 3 looking for farms in need of pickers. How we ever made it from Windsor and back from Wheatly and the Leamington farm areas is beyond me. Henry’s cars were always clunkers. But then, we just did what we had to do - picked gladiolas, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, tobacco. Despite the back wrenching work, Eadie never complained, always smiled, always received and gave hugs with the greatest of pleasure and made sure we were fed. In my eyes “my aunt” Edie was the most beautiful of ladies. I have never stopped considering her special in every way. She always took time to celebrate others - never expecting or wanting anyone to return the favour. When I married, Eadie saw to it that I was blessed with her approval - calling to tell me that I was a lucky man and that Marie would have a place in her heart alongside me. In the end, Eadie does not need to be remembered by me because she has never left me. She is still “in” me, held close as all rare special people should be. My aunt Eadie is in my heart forever. She is the most shining example of warmth, smiles, gentleness and kindness - an angel looking down from above to make sure the world’s harshness does not harm us. God, on the other hand is the lucky One. He has eagerly welcomed her to Heaven where I am sure she has been appointed His first most trusted “Officer of Human Goodness”. Bless you Eadie for giving to the world your two wonderful children and to us all an example of what the world should strive more ardently to be. Much love, Marie and me (Poulin)
