I have only just learned of Jane's passing. When I first started working at SCC Jane was there to help me - with guidance, patience and enthusiasm. She and I shared many cat stories and laughed a lot. Jane was a really good colleague and friend. My sincere condolences to go out to her family. Elizabeth White

Hello Ron, I have only just learned that dear Jane died in 2016! I do hope you receive this despite the time elapsed. You may recall that Jane and I worked together at the Standards Council. When you and I last talked you had told me that Jane was ill Jane was a living saint and has now gone to her heavenly reward - no doubt full of horses! Rest in peace, Jane - Christa Wagner

Dear Ron and family - I am truly sad to be seeing this announcement, and that I was unable to attend the funeral. Jane meant a lot to me. I met Jane when I was 20 and started working at the Standards Council of Canada. She became one of my dear friends, and I think of her often - she taught me so much, not just about work, but about life and love. She was one of the kindest, strongest, and supportive women that I knew. I think of her often, and wish I had been able to give her one last hug to show her how much she meant to me and how much I loved and admired her. It made me so happy to see photos of her here, especially of her riding her horses. She talked so much about her love for horses. Jane - until we meet again, and have tea and cookies, and talk about everything and nothing. I know you are where you want to be, and close to God who you love so much. I hope you are riding horses too. I love you. Anneke Olvera

My sincere condolences to your family. I had the pleasure of getting to know Jane at the Standards Council of Canada. Almost daily we would clean the kitchen and share stories about our families and pets. We shared many laughs together. Jane was a very caring, supportive and friendly woman. I hope that your grief will be short and your loving memories of Jane will last forever.

During my working years at SCC, Jane was my inspiration and kept me the most positive. I will never forget her love for horses and how that was a big part of her life. I remember when I was 5 years old and you took me to the park, you were sitting on the bench whole I was swinging on the swing set and a spider fell on my knee and I was so scared I started to cry and you ran right over and without removing the spider taught me it was God's creation and a friend and for me not to be afraid. I have forever viewed all living creatures with this in mind. Thank you for teaching me to love every piece of nature and to walk through this world with kindness and compassion. I'll forever miss our tea parties with sugar cubes and lady fingers and cooking breakfast with you after sleepovers and veggie tales. You'll be in my heart forever. Love always, Veronica

My Dearest sister-in-law Jane, I will remember you as a Nature Lover, especially animals, Your love for horses, dogs, cats and birds...all of nature's most beautiful gifts. I remember when you saved a cat from his wounds and we kepted this cat in the family. Your beautiful love for Horses, so graceful and gentle, you are beautiful to see riding them with such skill and ease. Your gentle touch and smile with your family. I will cherish all the times we had a cup of Tea together amoung family with great chats. I was your flower girl at your wedding with Ron, I still have this picture in my head that gives me a warm memory in my hearth. I love you Jane and will keep you in my memories.
