Suddenly at home on Monday, August 11, 2014 in her 58th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Garfield Sargent. Loving mother of Jeremy (Miranda), Blair (Lisa) and Blaine (Tracy). Ellen will be sadly missed by her grandchildren who meant the world to her, Desiree, Britney, Nicholas, Taylor, Avery, Brandon, Mariah, Jessica and Rachel. She will also be dearly missed by brothers Bill (Trudy) and Ken, cousin Marina, mother and father-in-law Richard and Ruby Sargent and dear friends Judy and Wayne, Diane and Mark and Marylou and Charlie and many more friends and relatives as she was loved by all. Ellen was predeceased by her Dad and Mom, Ken and Elby Shappee. As per Ellen’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association, Diabetes Association or CHEO.
