Wayne and Barb Lanning. Lennie and I were not only business partners but friends for many years. We had spent our business time and social times together and shared the ups and downs which were all a pleasure. My senior by a number of years,he was a hard worker to keep up with. I often asked him to slow down and smell the roses. Both Barb and I will miss him. May he rest in peace

What a nice man and neighbor Lennie was to Tom's parents, Ted & Isabelle Whitney. He would come over and take Dad's car into the garage and fix it up for him. Also, they always received a Christmas card from him. Very thoughtful and caring of others. Sympathies to his family and friends. Hugs to all, Charlene Whitney

Sincere sympathy to Lennie's family and friends. I have known Lennie since public school days and he never looked any older. I used to tease him about that.My husband [ the late Ross Dalton } was also in the car sales business just up the street from Lennie,and the two men visited back and forth in their respective garages many an evening. When Lennie had the garage on the Merrickville road, he had a live monkey there and Ross used to take our daughter Debbie [Stone} down there to see the monkey many evenings.. You are all in my prayers and thoughts Marilyn Dalton-Warren

I never knew Lennie well. Growing up my Dad always talked highly of him and always went to Mid town Motors to buy his cars. I knew he was a nice man just because my Dad wanted to deal with him. I got the privilege of telling Lennie this and finally meeting him and caring for him.I knew then why my Dad liked him. He is in your hearts now.....forever. Sincerely Debbie McGuire

Lennie was such a wonderful family friend to my parents Orley and Irene Shirley. I was always amazed that each Christmas a card would arrive from Lennie all the years he was in Florida. Purchased a few cars from him and apprciated his guidance.
