I'll miss the stories of his childhood. It got me interested in learning about my grandparents childhood. Served me many a cold drink and at times told me to "grab a cot". He was a truely nice and gentle with always an ear for us younger Guards. My deepest condolences to the family and may he rest in peace....."SPRINGS EASED"

so sorry to hear about Jack's passing...got to spend time with Jack &Pearl on some of their wedding anniversaries..... loved how he told the story how I was born at Uncle Leonards the year they were married and nearly ruined their celebrations..... such a nice man... Pearl, Debbie, Fred and family members. We were shocked and deeply saddened when we heard of Jack's untimely departure. There is never a "good time" for a loved one's departure to sit with our Lord in Heaven. Take solace in knowing that Jack and the Lord are sharing a good laugh as Jack tell's him one of his favorite stories. He will be missed by all he touched in life. God bless Jack Gill!
