Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Janice Phillips (nee Thompson). Loving father of Robert Phillips (Nadine), Jennifer Phillips and the late Willy Phillips. Cherished grandfather of Daphne, Ryan, Kristina and Emanual and great-grandfather of Liam and Alexis. Treasured brother of Ruth Beierle (Art) and uncle of David Beierle (Kerry). Dear son-in-law of Jean and Orville Sears and brother-in-law of John and Mary Thompson. Also survived by the mother of his children Geraldine Phillips. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Violet Phillips and his brother William Ross Phillips. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Lannin Funeral Home on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Anglican Cemetery, Eastons Corners.
