Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital with her family by her side on Friday September 5, 2014. Loving mother of James (Eileen), William (Cindy), and Mary (Matt). Cherished grandmother of Rebecca, Adam, Bryan, Joshua, and William. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Kathleen, her husband Arnold, her brothers Stanley, Laveren, Patrick, Vincent, Bernard, and sisters Margaret, Aileen, Leona, Mary, and Agnes. Doreen will be fondly remembered by her surviving sister Bernice as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family wish to thank the Emergency and ICU departments at the Smiths Falls Hospital for all their wonderful care and compassion. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday September 8, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 11 am.
