Mildred or as I first knew her, Mrs. Bell, was an inspiration to all of us--so kind, friendly, hard working, and the best pie maker ever. I remember her coming down to Western to visit with not one pie, but twelve, all different. We were spoiled by Sandra's mother and I will always remember to kind and loving face and her touching ways.
My sincerest condolences to the family.
Love
Helen

Dear Sandra, Larry, Bill and family, the Watson Cousins of Havelock and Toronto were saddened by learning of the passing of your dear mom but know that she will be so happy to be reunited with your dad, especially, and so many other relatives including our parents, Jean (Robb, originally of Toledo) and Jim Watson, as well as countless friends. We have so many wonderful memories of time spent around one of the tables in the old kitchen or the 'new' one at the farm house with your mom and dad, each of you and your grandparents as well as occasional visits to Round Lake and Toronto. So much conversation, laughter, card playing, and delicious meals are part of the memories of those visits wherever they took place. When at your parents', I could never refuse your mom's offer of a slice (always a very generous portion) of one of her pies even though I (Lois) didn't like pie. The occasional sleepovers were also part of the fabric of those memories. I have an angel that your mom crocheted or tatted and gave to me years ago. She was an angel on Earth and now is an angel with your dad. With our love, warmest thoughts and hugs to each of you, Lois (and Don) on behalf of Rob ("Giz"), Carol, and Aunt Verna

What a great loss to this wonderful family. Mildred was a kind and gentle soul who touched the hearts of all who knew her. Sandra, Larry and Bill, there is no one like your mom, and you had one of the best. Lenny and Linda, no one could ask for a better mother - in - law. To Christine, Matt and Skylar, Tim and Nicole, Rob and Katie, Mike and Brittney, Nikki and Jamie, what great role models you had in your grandparents. To Landon, Cohen and Onalee, Colt and Haillie, you were a ray of sunshine to your great grandmother and brought her much happiness. She will be missed by all of you and you are in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn her loss. Sending big hugs and much love your way xox
