Hyde, Jack Douglas
Peacefully in Smiths Falls, on the Rideau Canal, on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in his 74th year. Best friend of Lynda Hardwick. Loving father of Sherrie Hyde (Ivan Ramlackhansingh) and Timothy Hyde (Andrea Doak). Cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Justin, Bethelyn and step-grandfather of Chelsea and Elijah. Predeceased by his parents Wilbur Hyde and Esther Burke. Jack was an avid, skilled boater and craftsman who loved to travel. He was fun-loving and had this special way of engaging and connecting with people. He was deeply adored and loved by all those around him.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life in true Jack style with music and reminiscing upstairs at the Lancaster Smokehouse, 574 Lancaster Street West Kitchener (cash bar), on Thursday Dec 1st from 6:30-9:00 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls.
