McEwen, Evelyn (Eve) Teresa (nee Maley)

Suddenly went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 29, 2017 in her 99th year.  Beloved wife of the late Wesley McEwen of Smiths Falls, Ontario.  Loving mother of David Wesley McEwen and his wife Virginia of Riverview, New Brunswick and mother-in-law of William Casagrande of Perth, Ontario.  Cherished grandmother of Jamie Bertrand (Michelle), Julie Bertrand, Daron McEwen (Cindy), Sabrina Laforge (David).  Great- grandmother of Devon, Ashlyn, Margret Ann, Julian, Christopher, Brandon, Blaine, Victoria and William. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Vina Maley, by her daughter Diane Casagrande and brothers Jack Maley, Laurence Maley, Robert Maley and William Maley and sisters Grace Shannon, Ethel Moron and Margaret Myers.

Friends may visit with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday July 3, 2017.  The funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Lombardy on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 11:00am.  Interment to follow at Maple Vale Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations in memoriam of Eve can be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Francis De Sales, Roman Catholic Church, Smiths Falls and would be gratefully appreciated.  Online condolences available at www.lannin.ca
