My condolences to Lyle and Gayle - just picked up the Kemptville Advance paper and read about the recent passing of your mom. I have such fond memories of growing up in Westboro and the church family where we attended each Sunday; Lorna was my sunday school teacher for many years, all the Xmas concerts that she put together and all the wonderful winter outings that they, your mom and dad organized and had us all back to their home on was it Larose Avenue??? Sliding down the hills such fun we had back then. She lived to a full age of 99 wow - anyway just wanted to touch base with you and tell you what a wonderful woman/mother she was and how I remember all the wonderful times we had together.

Gayle, Lyle and families: We express our sympathy to each of you.
We both have very fond memories of your Mom and Dad. Leigh remembers your family visits to his home in Codrington. He remembers boarding with your parents. Lorna, you were a match-maker for us. We will always be grateful.
Marilyn remembers your Mom and Dad as a big part of her "church" life growing up.

I wish to express my deepest sympathies at this time to Lyle, Gayle and your families. I boarded with Lorna and Percy while I attended Carleton University for the years 79/80 and 80/81. I was never hungry, always had a clean bed and clean clothes to wear. They took care of me like I was one of their own children. Rest in peace Lorna! Till we meet again!
