Dear Marie and family: it has been many years since I have seen Cousin Bill. I did visit him in the Civic a few years ago but he did not remember me. My Dad was James Melvin Fitzgerald of BROCKVILLE and their Mothers were sisters. Bill was always so nice and my Dad and he were great together I remember many great times at Nana Carrie's in Merrickville. I regret I cannot make it to the service but I live in Ottawa and my car is in the garage tomorrow getting new brakes. God Bless all of your family I am sure Bill and my wonderful Dad Mel are having a drink right now and getting caught up on OLD times. Marlene Fitzgerald Joly

Marie, Theresa and family, Tom and I never had the pleasure of meeting Bill. However, the loving way that we heard him spoken of, makes us know what a kind, caring, loving man he was. We'll always remember Bill as a gentle man who spoke softly and kindly. He had a warm personality. At family gatherings, he loved to sit back, with a big smile and watch his beloved family with pride and love. You will be missed Bill, but will remain alive, always in our hearts.
