Gill visited us almost every time she was in Ottawa. She struggled with health issues,but was admirably strong in maintaining her residence and caring for her husband.She has often mentioned him,and tried to get out summer and winter to visit him. What I liked about Gill most was that she had huge stands of lilacs which were visited by hilariously plump hummingbirds,who buzzed around us like giant,loud bees! She loved her dogs and cats, and was probably a real country girl!, Goodbye,Gill..so sorry to hear you have left the world so soon,.My sympathies to her relatives,especially her husband.
