So sad to hear of Ed's passing. Eddie and I lived next door on Mary Street and started at Elgin School
together,as a matter of fact on our first day of school when the recess bell went we went home thinking
school was out for the day. |Needless to say we were hustled back by our parents. I fondly remember
our younger years but except for a few meetings over the years we didn.t see each other much, mostly
due to the fact the work took me to cities relatively far from Smiths Falls.
