Cyril was a great tradesman & above all a great & very honest man. Cyril & I (Garnet) were in partnership in the construction business. The lawyer told us at the time of making this agreement to be a partner, was like a marriage relationship. Cyril & I agreed onb many things, & disagreed on a few things. When on the job, Cyril was the boss & I was the workman. I looked after the business side of our company. This world will be less one good man. May he rest in peace. Sorry that I am unable to be at the funeral to see my dear friend laid to rest. God bless all his family. I will be thinking about you during this time. Garnet Cassell

So sorry for your loss! Cyril is fondly remembered as great cousin who loved any chance for a family reunion. We were so disappointed that we had missed him at Lois's funeral, and will now not have another chance to talk. We are sorry that we will not be able to make it to the visitation, but are worried by the weather. Fondly remembered by Dick and Lois Bennett, and family

As young girls we remember Cyril Lackey the kindest man we had ever had the pleasure to meet. We are truly blessed to have enjoyed many years with the Lackey family when Bev and Cyril were working together. Our hearts go out to all of you. It was an honour to have had the opportunity to spend precious time with Cyril. We possess some of his masterpieces and will cherish them for the rest of our days. Be good to yourselves. What a wonderful man Cyril was ,he always had a smile and never missed saying hello when we would meet .He has built two houses for us and always made it that there never was a moment that we were not involved .Cyril 's workmanship will never be replaced ..My thoughts to the family ,they sure will miss Cyril, as we all will... ..Alice Gray
