I am lucky to have had the pleasure to have met and spent time with Delores, the mother of my dear friend. We went would drive around, shop, go for lunches, dinners, and play scrabble. There was this crazy pigeon, too. Throughout the years things seem to become more difficult, but she was always up for an adventure and a conversation. She was generous, thoughtful, and quite sharp witted, known to put me in my place as needed, but never short of compliments. I only wish my daughter could have met her, but I will surely let her know who she is, and just great she was. Rest in Peace Delores, thanks for always keeping it real.
