To: Roy Moffatt and family,
Gladys and I send our deeply felt condolences to you Roy, and to the other members of your family, on the passing of Edythe Mae. Our many visits to Merrickville as well as our casual meetings in Kemptville were always enjoyable. We also have very fond memories of our close relationship with the many social activities during our time in the Force.
The Edythe Mae photograph in the obituary is lovely and how we both will always remember her. Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow.
Sincerely,
Jim & Gladys Walker

Uncle Roy, Rodney and Rhonda, We are so saddened that the world has lost a beautiful lady, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and, I am sure, friend to anyone she came across. It’s never easy losing a parent or a wife however we can all strive to love life as much as Auntie Edie. We can only aspire to unconditionally love our families like she did, love our grand children as much as she did, love and respect our husband as much as she did, and just overall be an amazing person. Her smile would brighten anyones day. The little gestures of buying the kids clothes from Sears with the ever popular box of Smarties when the kids were little, that I am sure she thought of as nothing much, made fond memories for the kids and was so appreciated by us. Even though we are sad, we celebrate Auntie Edie’s life by knowing how well-loved she was and how she left such a positive imprint on all of our hearts. Our deepest sympathies goes out to all of you at such a difficult time.
Hugs and all our love,
Bob, Kathy, Jarrett, Shannon, Pat and Reese.
