My lovely memories of Olive are of us working together in 1947 at the Royal Pavilion in Ramsgate ( now part of the Wetherspoons group) being chatted up by the servicemen, arranging to meet them at one of the four entrances, but when we finished we would then leave from another exit !! Lots of lovely memories of a truly lovely friend. My thoughts are with you at this sad time xx

I have lovely childhood memories of Auntie Olive visiting us all in Ramsgate. My girls also have very fond memories of the last visit. Especially the mismatched bumble bee and lady bird earrings which they still talk about.
I still have a very loved bear (very thread bare) who was lovingly made for me by Auntie Olive and I will always treasure
Love Dawn, Tilly and Maisy xx

To my auntie who was always there for me, just on the end of the phone offering kindness and support. Just knowing she is no longer there is heartbreaking. She inspired me to sew while I was just a little girl. Feel so sad that we’ve left it too late to see her again. Her family have been amazing looking after her In the same way as she looked after them. RIP Auntie Olive. Love

Graham, Zoe & Vernon:
Our hearts go out to you all at this very sad time. We have so many wonderful memories growing up of picnics at Silver Lake, Christmas word games, wearing Easter bunny ears, wonderful lunches with scones & jam. I will always remember her laugh and her finishing Uncle Alan's sentences. Big hugs to you all!
