Although I haven't smelled pipe tobacco in years, to this day I can't forget the smell of it. I remember as a child watching Uncle Ernie tamp down tobacco into his pipe and that first sweet smell as the match hit it. Ernie, may you rest in peace and may your pipe always be full! To all of Ernie's family. May the shared laughs and memories bring you comfort in the days and months ahead.

I have so many laughable memories of Ernie. I send my condolences out to the family. Hold onto your wonderful memories you and he will live in your hearts forever. Remember Patsy the day we had the butter fight? Ernie just sat in the chair and laughed then he told us we had to clean it up. Lol that floor was so greasy it was like the ice capades in there. Lol I love my memories.... it lightens my heart. God Bless you all.

I remember Ernie spending hours laughing over coffee with my dad Eric Willis when he lived on Briton-Houghton Bay Road. The breakfast outings with him and my Dad were always a highlight of my summer holidays. Ernie was one that could always make me smile and he will be greatly missed. Thank you for the laughter and wonderful memories Ernie!
All my love and thoughts to Ernie’s family and friends.

To All Members of Ernie's Family
Please know that we are thinking of you at this time. Losing a parent, brother, grandfather, friend is never easy and Covid has added to that by not being able to gather to celebrate his life. His life was colourful and full of stories, many laughs and memories. He was always there to help if you needed a hand. I know the last couple of years have been very difficult for everyone and we pray that Ernie has found the peace that he is deserving of. May God Bless Ernie and all of you. Glenn and Judy Rogers
