Betty, Doug, Debbie and Tracey, please accept my condolences with the passing of Bert. At one time our block was the top of Lavinia St with five homes being built in the sixties, but none stood out more than the Harper property with the beautiful lawns and awesome garden out back. Bert and Betty were compassionate neighbours as they watched out for our mother for twenty years when our dad passed away in 1998, my sister Lorna and I will never forget your act of kindness.
Smile, laugh and cry as you embrace your memories of a husband, father and grandfather until you all meet again.

Bert belonged to a Litany of Saints on Lavinia street.
Memories go back to 3am flooding a rink for all the kids.
His superb garden that fed an army. Many brooms he
bought for Tracey.
Betty and family God is with you.
