Retired Fire Captain of the Smiths Falls Fire Department Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Sunday April 11, 2010. Floyd Douglas Darling, age 64 years. Predeceased by his parents Gordon & Mamie Darling. Beloved father of Shauna Darling (Cliff Cross) and Robin Hull (Justin). Dear brother to Linda, and predeceased by his brothers and sisters Donald Darling, Annebell Knapp, Mervin Darling, June McKay, Lois Roantree, and Arthur Darling. Floyd will be greatly missed by all of his Nieces, Nephews, Great Neices and nephews, and many friends. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Thursday April 15, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will take place on Friday April 16, 2010 at the Trinity United Church, Smiths Falls at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Floyd to the Diabetes Society or the Smiths Falls Hospital would be appreciated.
