Has Gone Golfin' Ron passed humbly and gently at home with his most precious Raya and Nina holding his hand on Sunday, July 10, 2016 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Anne McLean. Loving father of Taylor Joseph "TJ" McLean. Cherished grandfather of the lights of his life Raya and Nina. Dear brother of Diane Hannah (Gib). Treasured son-in-law of Wilfred Fortin (the late Anita) and brother-in-law of Debbie Anderson (Doug), Susan McIntyre (Michael) and Marcy Barrett (Andrew). Predeceased by his parents Wilma Taylor and Mervin McLean. Sadly missed by his now lost and confused old golf buddies. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family in Holland and many adopted "daughters (Becki, Kerry, Valan, Roos, ...). Ron was an avid and well versed golfer as well as a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Friends are invited to the Lombard Glen Golf and Country Club to celebrate Ron's life on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. To honour Ron's love of golf, golf or casual attire is encouraged. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
