I am sorry to hear of Alvins passing, and I just want his family to know that I was thinking of you. Through work I have come to know most of his family. I would like to mention that probably one of the last sluice frames Alvin worked on was at Merrickville locks and he placed a small metal plaque on the frame with his name and the date. It may be keep sake for the family to have either now or when the time comes for the sluice frame to be replaced. Once again I am sorry to hear of your loss and our thought s are with you.
